Vegetable Oil Fixes Wood Floors

Vegetable oil has many uses outside of the kitchen. One great use is for cleaning wood floors! Wood flooring is very delicate, and many floor cleaners can ruin the wood. Also, too much water can cause damage, making it difficult to keep the floor clean, let alone shiny. But this simple hack fixes that problem.

Vegetable oil mixed with vinegar can kill germs and leave the wood in perfect condition. Combine vinegar and vegetable in equal parts, and put them in a spray bottle. Spritz the wood floor and mop the mixture up. If the floor gets too wet, it’s also possible to dry it with a cloth afterward. The wood floor will look like new, without any risk to the wood.
