Use Bread to Sweep Up Glass

The best cleaning hacks are the ones that teach us to do the job easier and safer. One of the most dangerous clean ups is picking up small shards of glass after a cup or vase was dropped. We can manage to sweep up the big pieces of glass, but there’s always tiny pieces left over that are difficult to see.

Try using a slice of bread to catch those small pieces! The bread’s soft and spongy texture works great to collect the tiny pieces even when we can’t see them. By wiping the slice of bread around the area the glass fell, we can collect those shards and avoid finding them stuck in our foot days later.
