Raise the Curtains

Curtains were huge for centuries, but they’re no longer considered a staple of interior design. With shutters and shades, curtains aren’t a necessity. However, they’re still a good idea, not only from a design perspective but practically.  When we think about how useful curtains are we wonder why people would hesitate to get them. These can accentuate the home decor or pick up a color that is on the carpet. This is the ideal way to regulate how much light comes into our homes. 

Curtains are energy efficient and can help retain the hot or cold air produced by air conditioning or heaters. Also, there’s no need to twist a cord to get the shutters to work. Curtains are a classic.
