Pennies from Heaven

Pennies used to be worth something. Not anymore. Many of us have stacks and stacks of pennies lying around. We could take them to the bank and cash them in. Unfortunately, many banks don’t offer those services anymore. What can we do with all of those pennies? Certainly, no one who runs a store wants to accept pennies to pay for merchandise.

This person took $130 worth of pennies and arranged them into a breathtaking floor. We are impressed that some of them are bright and shiny and others are dark. Soaking some of the pennies in a solution to make them lighter did the trick. After arranging them in a striking design, they covered them with materials to keep them in place. Now we have a use for those extra pennies.
