Microwaving Lemon Juice Cleans the Microwave
Did you know you can use lemons to clean your microwave? This time, the lemon (or other citrus fruit) helps lift the guck inside the microwave. You just have to heat a bowl of lemon juice mixed with water for four minutes. This way, the steam will loosen the food that’s splashed stuck to the microwave walls. After heating the lemon water, use the mixture to wipe the inside of the microwave. The citric acid helps remove the stuck-on food so there’s no need to scrub.
Plus, warm water and lemon juice can be used to clean the outside of the microwave. This leaves the door and buttons shiny and stain-free.
