Hairspray Helps Clean Dry-Erase Boards

One ordinary marker can ruin a dry-erase board forever, or so we thought. Regular markers, as well as writing left on a dry erase board for too long, can leave a stain no matter how much we try to lift it. No amount of dry erase cleaner seems to lift these marks, even if it’s what the cleaner is specifically made for.

Try hairspray to remove these marker stains! We’d never expect hair products could solve this problem, but if it works, it works!  After spraying hairspray on the board, wipe it off with regular soap and water. This removes the sticky residue of the marker stain and brings the whiteboard back to life!
