Coffee Filters Can be Used for Cleaning Glass
We thought Windex and paper towels were the only way to clean windows and mirrors, but then we discovered coffee filters! Paper towels may be absorbent, which is great for picking up a liquid spill, but absorbency isn’t necessary for window cleaning. Coffee filters not only leave the windows and mirrors streak-free, but they also don’t over-absorb the spray.
Their texture is great for collecting the dust and dirt without spreading it around. Plus, they’re strong enough to lift sticky residue without ripping or leaving pieces of wet paper behind. Save the paper towels for big spills and try coffee filters on surfaces next time for a spot-free finish.
